Create a world where co-design and innovation empower everyone to thrive.
TOM Melbourne helps to bring people with disabilities and volunteers together to co-design assistive technology for unmet needs.
We work with people with a disability who have a specific need and connect them with a diverse group of Volunteers (engineers, industrial designers, health professionals, tradespeople and tinkerers).
Together, the team designs and builds prototypes that solve specific challenges and improve the everyday life of the Need-Knower.
Prototype designs are shared open-source on our website under Projects. This allows anyone from around the world to replicate or enhance the design within their community.
Join us in shaping a more inclusive future.
Whether you’re a person with a disability, a carer, a volunteer or a supporter, we would love to connect. Reach out to discuss how we can turn challenges and ideas into impactful solutions.
