About
The Challenge
Amy is a media student that wishes to film documentaries and short films independently. She would like to use a hand-held camera while also mobilising on crutches. Continuing on from the work done by her team in the 2017 Makeathon, Amy would like to develop their original design to be more robust to movement.
The Concept
The PVC-pipe camera rig allows the user to operate a video camera and its accessories hands-free. The device is braced on the user’s back and shoulders, and has a custom mount for a camera.
