THE CHALLENGE
Naina's parents would like to develop a way for Naina to experience free and active play as she grows up. Naina greatly enjoyed using a Jumparoo – a frame which allowed her to jump up and down on the spot while supported. Since Naina has outgrown her frame, Naina's parents would like to develop a way for her to engage in active, supported exercise and play.
THE SOLUTION
The ‘Bounce’ prototype is a play frame with a bungee system which can provide engagement for the user. Bounce provides children an opportunity to play independently and take part in an enjoyable, highly rewarding physical activity. The user is supported with a harness and elastic straps while maintaining the freedom to move and bounce.
