About

The Challenge

Joanne would like  a solution to put lace-up shoes on independently. She wants a solution which does not permanently alter her existing shoes. It must also be easy to use without exerting her whole hand. This solution was developed at the same time as the shoe applicator.

The Concept

The TOM team worked on a new version of the solution developed at the Makeathon with Joanne. This version improves on the aesthetics of the original design and can be customised depending on shoe dimensions or available making resources and skills.
